Questy

Privacy

The companies that help run Questy.

Two other companies handle information for Questy. This page says what each one does and what it receives. Last updated 8 October 2026.

Cloudflare

What it does: runs the site, stores Questy's data, sends our email, runs the AI models behind the AI quiz maker, and runs the check that a person is using a form (joining a game, signing in by email, the contact page).

What it receives: everything Questy stores (set out on the privacy page), the text sent to the AI quiz maker, the address of each email we send, and the network address of each visitor as it delivers pages. It keeps short-lived operational logs.

Where: stored data is kept in the United States. Each visit is handled at a Cloudflare data centre near the visitor.

Stripe

What it does: takes payments for paid plans and event passes, on its own pages. They are sold through Link, a Stripe service, which charges the card and adds any sales tax that applies.

What it receives: what you enter on those pages, including your email address, your billing address and, when there is something to pay, your card. Questy never sees or stores card numbers. Stripe tells Questy whether a plan is active, and keeps its own record of payments.

When: only if you start a free trial of a paid plan, buy a plan or buy an event pass.

Nobody else

No other company receives information from Questy. There are no advertising or analytics companies, and the typeface, pictures and scripts on every page come from questy.io itself.

The people who run Questy are told by email when an account is created; that message goes to their own mailbox.
